How To Add Appointment Services as a Location Admin

Adding appointment services in DocVilla EMR is a crucial step for efficient scheduling and management. Follow the steps below to ensure that appointment services are added correctly:

 

Steps to Add Appointment Services in EMR:

Step 1: Access the Role Management Section

  • From the main dashboard, click on “Change Role” to switch to the appropriate role for managing appointments.

Step 2: Select Location Admin Role

  • Choose “Location Admin” to access administrative settings.

Step 3: Click on “Providers” to view the list of available providers.

 

Step 4: Select the Provider

  • From the list, select the name of the provider for whom you want to add appointment services.

 

Step 5: Access Appointment Settings

  • Scroll down to the Appointment Settings section.

  • Click on “Add Appointment Services” to open the configuration panel.

 

Step 6: Enter Service Details

Fill in the following fields:

  • Title: Provide a name for the service (e.g., General Consultation, Follow-Up, Weight loss Consultation, IV Infusion, Sick Visit, Annual Physical Exam, Hyperbarics, Psych Evaluation, etc).

  • Description: Add a brief description of the service.

  • Time Allotted: Specify the duration of the appointment (e.g., 30 [only put number]).

  • Fees: Enter the fee associated with the service

 

Step 7: Configure Service Options

  • Select the appropriate options for the service:

    • “Is Video”: Enable this option if the service is for telehealth or virtual appointments. In case of In-Person Visit, keep this option unchecked.

    • “Hide From Patient Portal”: Enable this option if you do not want the details of this service to be visible in the patient portal.

    • “Hide in Price Sheet”: Enable this option if you want to hide the price of this service from the Price Sheet.

    • Appointment Color: Choose a distinct color to represent this service on the calendar. This helps in easily identifying the service type in the scheduling interface.

 

Step 8: Save the Appointment Service

  • Once all configurations are complete, click the “Save” button within the Appointment Settings section to store the new service.

This process ensures that the appointment service is added accurately to the EMR, allowing for seamless scheduling and effective management.
