How to Use Diagnosis in Diagnosis Info for Patients

The Diagnosis feature allows detailed management of ICD-10 and CPT codes for patient encounters. Here's how to use it:

 

Steps to Manage Diagnosis Information

Step 1: Log In to Your EHR Dashboard

  • Open the EHR system and log in with your credentials.

 

Step 2: Switch to the Prescriber Role

  • Ensure you are logged in with the Prescriber Role to access consultation features.

Step 3: Access the Diagnosis Section

  • Go to Consults and click on the patient's name.

  • Select the relevant Encounter.

  • Navigate to Diagnosis Info and click on Diagnosis.

Step 4: Fill Out Diagnosis Information
ICD-10 Codes:

  • Click the Plus (+) button to add a new code.

  • Search for the diagnosis by name and optionally add a description.

 


  • Save the code.

 

  • The saved code will be below.

Additional Options:

  • Copy and paste ICD-10 codes from Past Medical History.

 

  • Clone codes from a Previous Encounter.

 

 

  • Add codes directly from Favorites.

     

Step 5: Add CPT Codes

  • Search for the required CPT code, such as Initial Preventive Exam, and add it.

 

  • Fill out the following details:

    • Code and Description

    • Start Date & End Date

    • Diagnosis

    • Amount

    • Units

    • Place of Service

  • Save the CPT code.

Step 6: Concept of Services
To create and manage services for patient encounters, follow these steps:

  • Go to Chief Complaint

    • Navigate to Services and select the service.

  • Import Services

    • Select ICD Code, CPT Code and SOAP from the menu.

    • Start Import.

  • Once its saved it will appear below.
