How to Send Electronic Prescriptions (eRx) Through DocVilla on Mac and iPhone Safari

Overview

DocVilla supports sending electronic prescriptions (eRx) to over 90,000 pharmacies nationwide, including specialty compound drugs. To ensure smooth functionality on Safari (Mac or iPhone), you must configure specific browser settings.

Steps to Send eRx Through Mac Safari

Step 1: Configure Safari Settings on Mac

Open Safari on your Mac.
Navigate to Safari -> Preferences -> Privacy.
Disable (Uncheck) the following settings:
- Prevent Cross-Site Tracking
- Hide IP Address
Close Preferences to save the changes.

Steps to Send eRx Through iPhone Safari

Step 1: Configure Safari Settings on iPhone

Open Settings on your iPhone.
Scroll down and tap Safari.
Under the Privacy & Security section, toggle off the following:

Perform a Drug Search:
- Enter the medication name.
- Choose the correct medication from the results.
Review and confirm the drug details.

Step 6: Fill Out Prescription Details

Enter the prescription details, including:
- Dosage (e.g., “One tablet by mouth daily”).
- Supply (e.g., quantity or duration).
- Refills (number of refills allowed).

Step 7: Send Prescription

Review all details and click Send eRx to electronically transmit the prescription to the selected pharmacy.
