How To Add Medical Assistant (MA) or Nurse in the EMR

Adding new Medical Assistants (MAs) or Nurses to the DocVilla system ensures that the team members have access to the tools they need to provide efficient care. Follow the steps below to add them to the EHR:

With each Provider license, you are offered 5 additional staff members. These staff members can be nurse/MA, front desk, administrators, collaborating external physician, billers.

Steps to Add MA or Nurse in EMR:

Step 1: Change Role

  • From the main dashboard, click on “Change Role.”

Step 2: Select Location Admin

  • Choose the role “Location Admin” to access administrative settings.

Step 3: Access Providers

  • Click on “Providers” in the navigation menu.

Step 4: Add a New Team Member

  • Select “New” to begin adding a new MA or Nurse.

Step 5: Assign a Role

  • From the Role Selection, choose the Nurse role for the new MA/Nurse:

Step 6: Enter the Details

  • Fill in the required information for the new member.

Step 7: Save the Information

  • Click on “Save Provider” to save the new team member’s details.

This process ensures that all relevant staff, including MAs and Nurses, are properly set up in the system, enabling seamless collaboration and workflow optimization.
