Once the connection is disabled, please reach out to DocVilla support and we will be able assist you quickly to get your EPCS running within few business hours.

Before Expiration (Notification Message)

As your EPCS registration approaches expiration, you will see the following message while prescribing:

“Your EPCS registration will expire soon, and your practice is now using ID.me . Please sign up for ID.me using the EPCS Registration link.”

  • This notification will appear repeatedly as a reminder.

  • It indicates that your EPCS re-registration will be required soon.

Action Required

Once you see this notification:

  • Please ensure you complete the registration using http://ID.me before the expiration date.

  • Please reach out to support during business hours for assistance with re-registration.

Important: Once your registration expires, you will not be able to prescribe controlled substances until it is updated.

After Expiration (Error Message)

If your EPCS registration has expired, you may see an error like:

“The prescriber is not enabled for EPCS (Electronic Prescribing of Controlled Substances), and must be registered with ID.me prior to prescribing a scheduled drug.”

This indicates that your EPCS access is no longer active.
