Avoid Using Incognito Mode to Access eRx

When accessing the eRx (Electronic Prescribing) system in DocVilla, it is essential to use a standard browser. Using Incognito or InPrivate browsing mode can cause errors, such as the one shown below, due to the way eRx relies on browser cookies.

How to resolve this error in the eRx screen

ERROR : Sorry, the specified account does not exist. Please check your URL and try again.

Why This Happens

  • eRx heavily relies on browser cookies for authentication and session management.

  • Incognito/InPrivate mode blocks or clears cookies after each session, which prevents the system from confirming your registered account.

  • As a result, users may see an error message similar to the one above.

Recommended Action

If you encounter this error:

  1. Close the Incognito/InPrivate window.

  2. Open a regular browser session in Google Chrome (preferred).

  3. Log in to your DocVilla system again and try prescribing again.

If the error persists after following these steps, please contact DocVilla Support at support@docvilla.com .
