How to Add a Patient Without an Email Address in DocVilla EHR
Sometimes providers may need to register a patient who does not have an email address or chooses not to use the patient portal. DocVilla allows you to add such patients easily by disabling portal access during patient creation.
Steps to Add a Patient Without Email:
Open the DocVilla Dashboard.
Log in to your account.Navigate to the “Patients” section.
Click on the Patients tab from the main menu.
Click on “Add Patient.”
Enter Patient Demographics.
Fill in required fields like:First Name
Last Name
Date of Birth
Gender
Address (Street, City, State, ZIP, etc.)
Disable Patient Portal Access.
Uncheck the box labeled “Enable Patient Portal.”
This ensures no portal access or email registration is required.
Click on “Save and Close.”
The patient is now successfully added to your EMR without needing an email address.
