How to Mark Auto, Employment, or Other Accident-Related Claims in DocVilla
When working with a billing team or needing to categorize encounters for insurance claims, it’s important to clearly mark whether an encounter is Auto-related, Employment-related, or tied to any other accident. DocVilla makes it easy to do this directly within the encounter screen.
Step-by-Step Guide
✅ 1. Log in to DocVilla Dashboard
Navigate to your DocVilla Admin Dashboard.
✅ 2. Go to Consults
From the main menu, click on “Consults”.
✅ 3. Search and Open the Patient Encounter
Find the relevant patient using the search bar.
✅ 4. Scroll to the Bottom of the MA Notes
Inside the encounter screen, Click on Diagnosis Info and then MA Notes.
✅ 5. Look for the “Additional Info” Section
In the Additional Info section, you'll find dropdowns or checkboxes for:
✅ Auto Related
✅ Employment Related
✅ Other Accident Related
Give Unemployment Start and End Date/ Hospitalization Start and End Date.
✅ 6. Save the Encounter
Click “Save” at the top or bottom of the screen to apply the updates.
