Many providers wonder why a patient can't see their lab results or documents even after uploading them into DocVilla. The most common reason is simple — the document hasn't been marked as visible to the patient.

Step-by-Step: Make a Document Visible to the Patient

Login to DocVilla and go to the patient’s chart.

Navigate to the “Documents” or “Lab Results” section.

Locate the document or result you want to share.
Find the “Visibility to Patient” toggle.
Turn ON the toggle to make the document accessible in the Patient Portal.

📌 Important Notes

If the toggle is OFF, the document will not appear in the patient’s portal.
You can change the visibility anytime, even after uploading the file.

How to View Lab Results & Documents in the DocVilla Patient Portal

If your provider has uploaded lab results or other documents, you can easily view them through your DocVilla Patient Portal — but only if your provider has shared them.

🪪 Step 1: Log in to Your Patient Portal

Open the email sent by DocVilla when your provider enabled your portal.
Click the activation link

Enter your email, date of birth, and the password you created.

Login to your Profile

📂 Step 2: Go to the "Documents" or "Lab Results" Tab

After logging in, click on the Documents or Lab Results tab in the left-hand menu.
Look for any documents shared by your provider.
