Custom Tags for Patient Filtering in DocVilla

Managing diverse patient populations just got easier! With DocVilla’s new Custom Tags feature, practices can now organize, filter, and search patients more efficiently—making it easier to stay focused on care and streamline your workflow.

Custom tags allow you to categorize patients based on specific identifiers unique to your practice, such as:

• Medical Practice

• Mental Health

• Location 1 / Location 2

• Home Health

• Medication Management

• Or any other tag that suits your operational needs!

These tags make it easy to filter and group patients for care coordination, reporting, or internal tracking.

Step 1: Create Tags

1. Go to Setup → Enc Setup → Misc

2. Add your custom tags (e.g., “Behavioral Health”, “Dallas Office”, “Fall Risk”)

Step 2: Assign Tags to Patients

1. Go to the Patient’s Profile

2. Under the Basic Details section, select one or more tags that apply

• Use the left-hand filter panel on the Patients tab

• Or search using the top-right search bar by entering tag names
