How to Set Up and Manage Patient Reminders in DocVilla

DocVilla allows you to send automatic appointment reminders to patients via email. While the reminder frequency is fixed and cannot be changed, you can customize the email content to suit your practice's communication style.

Key Points

  • Reminder Frequency (cannot be modified and is preset):

    • Email Reminder are sent when you schedule appointment.

    • Email Reminder are sent when you reschedule appointment

    • Email and SMS (Gold plan members only) reminder are sent 1 day prior to the appointment

    • Calendar reminder (if accepted by the patient) are shown an hour before the appointment

 

To customize the Email content:

Step 1: Go to Setup

Step 3: Select the Misc tab

Step 4: Look for the section related to Reminder Email Content
