You will receive a confirmation that your account has been successfully synced with Google.
Step 5: Complete the Sync (Important Step)
After granting permissions and selecting calendars, use the dropdown to choose the Calendar. In Google, you can have multiple calendars e.g. business, personal etc. You have to choose the calendar with which you would like to sync DocVilla.
Select Ok, your DocVilla calendar will then sync with Google Calendar. You’ll now see your appointments reflected across both DocVilla calendar and your google calendar.
Ensure pop-ups are not blocked by your browser.
You can only sync one Google account per user at a time.
Google allows only one way syncing i.e. only the events from DocVilla go to your Google calendar that you choose. This restriction exists because of Google’s data-privacy and security policies—they don’t allow third-party systems to retrieve personal calendar data. The limitation is due to Google’s privacy-enforced API design, not something AI or anyone can override.
How to remove access of DocVilla from your Google Calendar? (in case the sync does not work or you would like to remove access of DocVilla from your Google calendar then please follow these steps)
To remove third-party access to your Google Calendar, you need to revoke the app or service's permission to access your Google Account. This can be done by managing third-party app connections within your Google Account settings.
Here's how to remove third-party access:
Step 1: Sign in to your Google Account: Go to myaccount.google.com and sign in.
Step 2: Navigate to Security: On the left sidebar, click on "Security".
Step 3: Find Third-Party Access: Scroll down to the "Third-party apps with account access" section and click on "Manage third-party access".
Step 4: Select the App: Choose the app or service whose access you want to remove from the list.
Step 5: Remove Access: Click on "Delete all connections" and then confirm your choice.
This will revoke the app's ability to access your Google Calendar and other associated data.
