For HIPAA compliance, the DocVilla account using multifactor authentication. If you provide an incorrect password or authentication 5 times then your account will get locked. You need to contact support@DocVilla.com to unlock the account or you can even raise a ticket. This is only applicable for Account Administrators.

If you are staff member requesting to unlock the password, please reach out to your Account Administrators rather than emailing us. Your account owners should be able to unlock your Account. We maintain strict security protocols and do not unlock accounts unless the request is made directly by the Account Owner. This policy is in place to safeguard against unauthorized access, particularly in cases where a provider/account administrator might have intentionally locked an account of a staff member who is no longer part of the practice. Only Account Administrators can ensure that such requests are handled appropriately and securely. |
We recommend having 2 account administrators in your account. If you and other staff member’s account gets locked, then the other Account Administrator can unlock your account. To do so, login as Account Admin, go to Directory → Mark login locked as No for any staff member.
